Gaming Floor
Grand Villa Casino Edmonton covers over 60,000 square feet inside ICE District, right at pedway level with Rogers Place in downtown Edmonton. That spot is very deliberate - we sit in the middle of one of Alberta’s busiest entertainment areas, where Oilers games, concerts, and other big events run through the calendar. If you are already heading into the core, the casino is basically along your route.
Our gaming floor is organized into two main sections: slots and live table games. Slot play is available every day from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. Table games start a little later at 2:00 p.m. and close at the same time. On the felt we offer Baccarat, Blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, and Roulette - familiar formats that most guests are actually looking for, without specialty rules or unusual variants.
| Game Category | Options | Hours |
|---|---|---|
| Slots | Slot machines | 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m. |
| Table Games | Baccarat, Blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Roulette | 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m. |
You do not need a reservation to come in and play. The floor operates all year, and our daily schedule often lines up with major events at Rogers Place, so the building can feel quite different on those nights.
Getting Here
We are located at 10204 104 Avenue NW, Edmonton, Alberta, T5J 0H6. If you are staying at one of the connected hotels or coming directly from Rogers Place, you can use the ICE District pedway network to reach us indoors from start to finish. In an Edmonton winter, that is more than a convenience, it is genuinely practical.
Before dropping by for the first time, it helps to sort out a few basics:
- Check current hours at grandvillacasinoedmonton.com or call 780-413-3178, in case operating times have been updated.
- Once inside ICE District, follow the signs to the pedway entrances that connect through to the casino level.
- Bring valid government-issued photo ID. Our security team may request it when you arrive.
- For on-site parking, Lot 404 is set aside for casino guests.
- For group visits or event-related questions, email [email protected].
One more thing to keep in mind: when Rogers Place is hosting a major event, the whole ICE District tends to be busier, from parking lots to elevators. Arriving a bit earlier than usual can take some pressure off your schedule, which is true for us and for most venues in this complex.
Dining and Bars
Food and drinks are a core part of the experience here, not a side note. Inside the property we run several different concepts, so you can pick what fits your visit that day.
Match Eatery and Public House is our sports bar and casual dining spot, open from 11:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. It is where a lot of guests settle in to watch a game with a meal. Atlas Steak and Fish offers a sit-down environment with a focus on steak and seafood, more suited to a longer dinner. Centro Bar operates until 2:00 a.m., and naturally becomes the late-night meeting point for many of our players.
For something quick, we have Starbucks, Sbarro, Vera’s Burger Shack, and Pinkberry on the property. Coffee between hands, a slice of pizza, a burger, frozen yogurt - the basics are covered without needing to leave the building or step outside.
| Venue | Type | Hours |
|---|---|---|
| Match Eatery and Public House | Sports bar / casual dining | 11:30 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. |
| Atlas Steak and Fish | Upscale dining | Confirm on-site |
| Centro Bar | Bar | 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. |
| Starbucks, Sbarro, Vera’s Burger Shack, Pinkberry | Quick-serve | Confirm on-site |
The way the floor and restaurants are laid out, you can move between gaming, a meal, and a drink without breaking up your visit. A lot of guests come in, grab dinner, play for a while, then circle back for a nightcap. That pattern feels very natural in this space.
